Article Marketing & Traffic

After some success with traffic exchanges - ClickPirate, Traffic Swarm, and Blog Mad, I decided to try gaining more traffic to my website through writing articles. I submitted my first article yesterday and lo and behold, I got approval for distribution today! Not only did I get approved, I also got "Expert author status." Lol, don't ask me how they determine who gets that title because I have absolutely no idea but I'm pleased as punch. They gave me this cute little button too.

Becoming an internet entrepreneur

Whew ... This is harder than I thought it would be.  There are so many ways to make money online, I find myself getting sidetracked and chasing rabbits down paths that I wouldn't normally take.  Shortcuts for getting members to opt in, setting up an autoblog, viral links for traffic . . .  It's so easy to lose focus when you're bombarded with eye-catching, emotion grabbing headlines that promise to fulfill your deep desire to become a successful internet entrepreneur "Instantly" and just by following "these simple steps."  I've realized that I'm putting the cart before the horse.  I'm nowhere close to having my site up and running yet I'm already looking at ways to get traffic to it, lol.  "Whoa there, girlfriend!"  Reality check. What to do with all this information

Real world break to pop in and post. Since I started this blog a year or so ago, I've never stopped taking in information on how to make money on the internet. I've got so much information, I don't know where to start or even how to organize it. And everytime I get out here on the internet and do a little surfing, I come across even more information that I can't help but add to my already huge monstrosity of a mess! It's unbelievable how much you can learn, and for me, it's all been free! I see those guru books telling you how they'll show you how to make a quick buck, but I don't believe it's that easy. Especially for someone like you and me - your average Joe and Jane. There's no doubt that there is useful info out there.
