Low risk vs High risk merchants

I’ve been doing a lot of surfing and searching for all things related to making money online. I’ve come across a mind-blowing amount of information and one thing always seems to lead to another.

If you’re going to do business online, you’ll need a method of processing payments. I was sent a link to Advantage Processors and thought I’d check it out. I surf over to the website and start reading the copy. Advantage Processors provides credit card processing merchant accounts for both Low Risk and High Risk merchants. I had never heard of those terms before. Some of the high risk merchants they list are gaming sites, adult sites, dating agencies, etc. Whew, guess I’d fall into the low risk category, lol. Anyway, I don’t need Advantage Processors services as I have a Paypal account so if I were ever to receive a payment (or donation, hint, hint), I’d be covered. But it was nice to learn something new.

Hi!

Paypal is great. Most online business used it. Unfortunately I don't have it. My country of origin has paypal but only for spending credit and not for receiving payment. This greatly affect my online money making effort. I cannot join most them all. I am force to stick with those that offer check payments, e-gold and xoom which can receive payments directly from paypal.

Say for example, I love to join www.associatedcontent.com to earn more from my articles but I cannot.

Good for you, you have all the option.

I am from the Philippines and yes, we have paypal here since October of last year but only for spending. Maybe, it will take another year or so for us to have a full paypal features..

Traffic, Traffic, I need Traffic

In an effort to get more eyeballs to my site, I joined a few traffic exchanges. Over time, some proved to be worth the effort and others were not so effective. One of the best ones so far has been ClickPirate . I've gotten a steady stream from them. I also like Traffic Swarm , the traffic is more targeted since users get to pick which site they want to view. I dropped Traffic Soldiers and Top Surfer because neither one of them sent many hits my way. And Top Surfer bombards your inbox with emails from its members. Any recommendations for good traffic exchanges?

Building traffic and getting paid - Sweet!

One of the free ways to build traffic for your website is to post to forums and place a link in your signature file. I've been testing this out in a forum I recently joined and I can tell you that it works. Hits to my site have increased steadily and about 50% have come from this forum.
