I've Been Tagged!

I've been tagged by Rob at The Million Dollar Experiment Down Under to give five reasons why I blog. I don't know who started the game, but it's a fun and creative way to get links back to your blog. If you get tagged, expect to write a post giving your reasons for blogging, include a link back to the person who tagged you, then tag 5 other bloggers.

So why do I blog?

1) I can gain traffic and visibility to my website Guide to Internet Income.com
2) I can earn a bit of money through doing sponsored reviews, ad placements, affiliate marketing, etc.
3) I can make friends with people in another country - like Rob, for instance, who is from New Zealand, Mike who I believe is from Great Britain, and Maki who hails from Canada.
4) I can prevent cobwebs from occupying my brain by engaging in deep and meaningful discussions with other bloggers.
5) I can learn something new.

By the way you mentioned Konterra in a previous post and I am sure I saw a post on johnchow.com where you could use his name as a coupon or something and then a lower traffic blog would be accepted, might be worth searching his site if you are keen to sign up with them

Becoming an internet entrepreneur

Whew ... This is harder than I thought it would be.  There are so many ways to make money online, I find myself getting sidetracked and chasing rabbits down paths that I wouldn't normally take.  Shortcuts for getting members to opt in, setting up an autoblog, viral links for traffic . . .  It's so easy to lose focus when you're bombarded with eye-catching, emotion grabbing headlines that promise to fulfill your deep desire to become a successful internet entrepreneur "Instantly" and just by following "these simple steps."  I've realized that I'm putting the cart before the horse.  I'm nowhere close to having my site up and running yet I'm already looking at ways to get traffic to it, lol.  "Whoa there, girlfriend!"  Reality check. Do I want to make money?  Of course.  Would it be helpful to me if I could have that money flowing into my account next week?  Absolutely!  But more than that, I want to create something useful.  An

What to do with all this information

Real world break to pop in and post. Since I started this blog a year or so ago, I've never stopped taking in information on how to make money on the internet. I've got so much information, I don't know where to start or even how to organize it. And everytime I get out here on the internet and do a little surfing, I come across even more information that I can't help but add to my already huge monstrosity of a mess! It's unbelievable how much you can learn, and for me, it's all been free! I see those guru books telling you how they'll show you how to make a quick buck, but I don't believe it's that easy. Especially for someone like you and me - your average Joe and Jane. There's no doubt that there is useful info out there.
